We have a very good used Joy Brand Electric Portable Vulcanizer (
X1604 Series ). Our unit is a 115/120 VAC model X1604-8 .
The Vulcanizer is in very good operating condition.
It is just "shop dirty" and has stains from all the "liquid slicing goop and tape" that is used during
the vulcanizing process.
We used this item to splice and repair our tunnel light cords that are shown at the bottom
of this page.
We also have the operating instruction manual for this unit.
Generally speaking:
This unit will PATCH cables O.D.'s of 2 inches or under and SPLICE cables O.D.'s of 1.625 inches or under - LENGTH
OF PATCH - 8 inch maximum.
NOTE: This unit needs molds to be placed in it depending on the size of the cable repair.
There are Type A B D E T & Y molds for this tool. All of these molds are described further down the page.
We
have a quantity of 4 Type b (slicing molds) for this tool which are described in detail further down this page.

We have the following multi socket tunnel light cords.
Each cord is 125 feet in length and has 7 bulb sockets with bulb gaurds.
Each cord is 220 volt single phase and has joy plug ends.
